The Procurement Journey is a website which contains guidance and documentation to help buyers run and manage their procurement activities.

The Procurement Journey is laid out in the same “Journey” fashion as this Supplier Journey, with zones and stations providing information on each stage of a procurement exercise.  However the Procurement Journey additionally provides information on the type of procurement that is being undertaken (Route 1, Route 2 or Route 3) dependent on the value and risk involved with the procurement. 

Although the Procurement Journey is written from a public sector buyer's perspective, it is a good source of information for you to understand why and what the buyer is asking of you in their request for quotation or tender documents.
